Terra Collective is a progressive rock band hailing from Denton, TX. Drawing from multiple genres such as math rock, jazz-fusion, and experimental rock, the five-piece band is full of rich sonic atmospheres, captivating grooves, and memorable vocal melodies.
The band began to take shape in early 2015 when guitarist Andrew McMillan, bassist Sean Miller, and vocalist Kevin Duran of the Denton-based progressive metal band, 1945, joined forces with halfsleep drummer, Brian Radcliffe. The group spent their first year writing and refining their sound before performing alongside acts such as Plini, Intervals, Save Us From The Archon, Vasudeva, Hikes, and Sianvar. Looking to expand their sound even further, the band brought in guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Jordan Gheen of Sky Window and The Night Above Us in 2016 and began recording.
Terra Collective has garnered a substantial following amongst the Dallas/Ft. Worth music scene in their short existence, and with the arrival of their debut EP, “Emerge” in August of 2017, the band is sure to extend their reach to an even wider audience.
